Here it is, ladies and gentlemen. The official flyer for the clothing swap! Help engage with this timeless tradition of giving and being gifted and stay awake for the updates on this event coming up in March! Photo courtesy of San Luis Obispo High school’s ECO Fashion Club.
This year’s Fashion Club Clothing Swap is back! To keep this giving-to-gift tradition alive at SLOHS there is now a time to do so, donations are being accepted now! Expressions and TNN decided to interview the club members to get final details on this peculiar event.
Expressions and TNN: When is the Clothing Swap happening?
Junior Kathleen Toribio: The Clothing Swap has been rescheduled for March, Tigers, so that means you all have more time to donate!
Sophomores Zoetzi Oropeza and Gage Gatti: It will be happening on Thursday, March 19, at lunch in the theater building!
Expressions and TNN: How can Tigers donate?
Junior Finley Pearse: There will be donation bins at the usual spots: the office, the ASB room, and in front of the fashion classroom. When you donate your clothes, take a selfie with it. That’s the picture you’ll show us at the event to earn your free entry! Otherwise, bring $5 to get in at the door.
Expressions and TNN: What type of clothes will be there and what will the clothing swap look like?
Junior Breya Fuhrman: We accept donations of any type of clothing except undergarments! We also accept shoes. Each year we receive cool high-quality items.
Sophomore Tierria Swain: There will be sections of different types of clothing all across the theater and this year, we will also be selling cookies and baked goods!
Well, you heard them. Come to the new clothing swap in March! To enter, bring something of your own to give or bring $5 at the door. Either way, enjoy the fun and explore your style! To keep up with this event, watch the video to see the faces behind this exciting annual hosting. Good luck, Tigers!
