It is well known that students at San Luis Obispo High School like illegal fireworks.
Is there a limit to how far they will go to get a rush of dopamine from loud noises and bright lights?
Should there be a limit? No, no one should keep people from enjoying fireworks in other states, where they are legal, especially on the Fourth of July.
Fireworks are illegal in California, but that doesn’t and shouldn’t stop you from going to another state and having a blast with your friends!
“I would spend a ton of money on fireworks if I had the chance in another state. Probably up to two hundred dollars,” said junior Kelton Fernandes.
Fireworks are fun, but is there a point where is there a point where it is too much, and you need to stop spending money? Let’s hear what that point is for some students.
“Whenever I go somewhere fireworks are legal, I bring an extra hundred fifty bucks, just for fireworks. If you’ve never set off fireworks, it is a must-do, especially if you’re a young boy who loves fire. But I don’t think I would spend any more than three hundred bucks on fireworks,” said an anonymous student.
Many people say that they don’t like fireworks, and that they are too loud, but that doesn’t mean that you should get angry, or yell at people just having a good time. Especially in a state where they are legal.
“I like fireworks, but wouldn’t spend any of my money on them. I don’t like it when get mad at others for launching fireworks,” said sophomore Jon Weyel.
Fireworks are illegal, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t and shouldn’t go somewhere where they are legal, and have the best time of your life. Fireworks change many lives, and they can change yours.
