The next school year is rapidly approaching, and San Luis Obispo High School students are in the process of registering for the 2022 to 2023 school year. Schedules will be decided by staff if a parent signature and all 19 selections in Aeries are absent.
Students have until Friday, February 11, to turn in their registration cards to their third period teacher.
Deciding schedules isn’t always the easiest task, so Expressions asked students how they’re doing.
Expressions: Have you finished registering for your classes?
Sophomore Mattea Kalpakoff: I did register, I just haven’t gotten my parents signature yet
Sophomore Rosstyn Janni: I have the sheet that I did, but I haven’t given it to my third period teacher
Sophomore Cal lanier: I have not finished registering for my classes next year
Expressions: how do you feel about registering for your classes next year?
Kalpakoff: It was incredibly stressful
Janni: If I don’t fail all of my classes this year, then good
Lanier: I feel like there’s too many options for electives. I don’t know what i’m going to choose because I want to choose the right things,I don’t want to choose the wrong things because I don’t want to not like the classes
Expressions: What classes are you planning to take next year?
Kalpakoff: Next year I have AP Environmental Science, AP Calc, AP Lit, ASB, and i’m taking two sports: cross country and track
Janni: I’m just taking normal classes, and for science i’m taking anatomy and then i’m going to do advanced APR for my elective
Lanier: Intro to interior and fashion design, Intro to performing arts, and digital photo
Remember to finish registering and turn in the registration cards to your third period teacher, Tigers!
