Winter Formal is approaching on February 12. San Luis Obispo High School students have started to consider whether or not they’re going.
Tickets go on sale January 31 and cost 15 dollars or 10 dollars with an ASB sticker.
School dances can be stressful for some students when they’re trying to buy a dress or suit, or planning which friends to go with. Although, attending school dances is one way to create long-lasting memories with friends and dates.
Expressions asked some SLOHS freshman for their opinions on if they want to go to Winter Formal or not and why.
Freshman Liza Flushman: I most likely am going because it seems fun, and it’s a good high school experience.
Freshman Sofia Waggoner: Yes because I want to have fun experiences. I decided freshman year to go to all school events to see if it’s cringe.
Freshman Charli Hicks: Yes because I had fun with my friends at Homecoming.
Freshman Trevor Pearson: I might go because Homecoming wasn’t my thing.
Hopefully, students will consider going with the COVID-19 precautions set in place. We hope to see you there!
