Many students from San Luis Obispo High School would travel for hours to listen to their favorite artist at a music festival. But what if the festival isn’t that far from San Luis Obispo?
Outside Lands is one of the most popular music festivals in the country and it is only three hours away from here. The festival in San Francisco starts this year at the Golden Gate Park from August 9 to 11. This is a great opportunity to see all the artists that SLOHS students love.
“I am really excited to stay with my friend for three days and get to see Kygo and Lil Wayne live,” said junior Rio Rosecrans.
With singers like Twenty One Pilots, Kygo, Lil Wayne, Hozier, Sheck Wes and many more, students can enjoy their last weekend of summer break in San Francisco. But you don’t have to stay the whole weekend since there is also day passes available. For one hundred fifty-five dollars students can enjoy one day at one of the biggest festivals and for three hundred eighty-five dollars all three days. Outside Lands is a great opportunity to end the summer break.
