Many San Luis Obispo High School students flock to any local concert, attracted to the unforgettable experience of live music. Luckily, there are many upcoming concert opportunities in town that students should definitely check out.
“Live music is one of my favorite things ever. You can’t beat finally hearing your favorite song live. And it’s so much better when those concerts are literally in SLO, so I don’t have to travel far,” said senior Sofia Sison.

May 22 will be a busy day for students choosing between house music or country music. If you’re more of a house music fan, be sure to get tickets for SidePiece at Alex Madonna Expo Center here. Or, if country is more of your vibe, check out Ty Myers at BarrelHouse Brewing Company. This show is sold out, but resale tickets are available on sites such as Vivid Seats and StubHub.
On June 10, Wiz Khalifa will be performing at the Fremont Theater. If you’re a fan, buy those tickets here.
