The Mid-State Fair is an event that many San Luis Obispo High School students will attend. It consists of rides, concerts, food, and a lot of animals.
“My favorite part of the fair is the zipper,” said sophomore Russel Ramadan.
The zipper is a ride at the fair that many students enjoy. You sit on a bench-type seat and are spun around at a rapid pace.
However, many students involved in FFA care more about the showing of animals.
“I am showing a swine this year. My favorite part of the fair is the showmanship and hanging out with friends,” said sophomore Forrest Avrett.
Avrett has spent months with his pig, Buster, and is finally ready to make all that time worth it.
However, that is not all the Mid-State Fair has to offer.
“I went to a very fun concert last year at the fair,” said junior Justin Toews.
The concerts at the fair can be very pristine. Artists playing this year include Jelly Roll, Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley, Sublime, and many more.
So, Tigers, no matter what you’re into, the Mid-State Fair will be a great experience for you and your family.
