San Luis Obispo High School boys varsity soccer team has been having quite the season this year. They have shown dedication towards the team and sport. On December 3, they traveled to a Fresno tournament. The boys finished in third place, winning three out of four games.

With the support of head coach James Boscaro and assistant coach and math teacher Ryan Perez, the team was able to come together to secure their win. Team captain Will Warden led the team to victory.

“I thought we played well. In the tournament we beat Clovis, which is the second best team in the state,” said Perez.

Coming together as a team took the boys one step closer to winning.

“Our team has been doing pretty well so far. I’m looking forward to seeing how we improve throughout the rest of the season in league,” said Junior Jared Treichler.

The boys will continue to make changes to their strategy and improve as the season progresses.

“We are going to try out new styles and formations in our next games,” said Treichler.

As the season picks up, make sure to support the team as they take on their opponents and congratulate them on their wins thus far.
