   If any San Luis Obispo High School Tigers are out of the loop this year, both junior varsity and varsity football teams have been on a continuous winning streak this fall. 

  Though the football team has had a reputation for not being the best it could be in the past, this year’s team most certainly defied those expectations. Varsity is 4-0 in league and is going up against Mission Prep (4-0 in league) at Mission tonight at 7 p.m.

  Seniors like Gavin Righetti and team captain Rory Devaney have definitely made it known that SLOHS football is here to stay whether you like it or not. They have led the team through a winning 6-2 season overall.

  Junior player Miles Debrum says that it’s truly all thanks to us Tigers for a great season on the field. 

  “Our team most definitely thrives off the energy of the stands, especially the student section. Football is a part of our SLO community, whether people like it or not, and for many people it is a real highlight of the week, especially in times like these,” said DeBrum.

  With the last game of the season rolling around tonight, it’s essential that Tigers show up to support Tiger Athletics. 

 In addition, this game is a SLO Town Showdown against Mission Prep at their home field so the stakes and energy will be higher than ever.
