With the holiday season comes the return of holiday beverages to our supermarkets and coffee shops. Expressions asked San Luis Obispo High School students what their favorite holiday beverage is.

  “ I love Chocolate de Abuelita, I like it when my grandma, or mom makes it.” said junior Anna Valera.

  “I love the peppermint mocha from Starbucks,” said freshman Anja Reed.

 “It’s called ponche. It’s a Mexican drink. It’s so good. It has a bunch of fruits inside it has guava and actual sugar cane sticks. I make it homemade during Christmas time.” said senior Araceli Alarcon.  

  “I guess Martinelli’s, it’s a non alcoholic apple cider. I’ve given eggnog a try a couple times and it’s not really my thing.” said junior Diego Freeman.

  “Okay, cider is pretty good. I don’t know, probably cider is the best and then after that is eggnog but you can’t have straight eggnog you need it with half milk. Like it’s too strong, otherwise, it’s too thick. I want to water it down a little bit. So much better that way.” said junior Josiah McCarley.

 “Chick-Fil-A peppermint milkshake because it tastes good, it just tastes good,” said junior Nick Aggalos.   Some of these delicious drinks will soon disappear until next winter, so make sure to snag them while they are still offered.
