Students at San Luis Obispo High School travel off campus during lunch to visit the normal lunch spots, but one restaurant is heavily underrated.

Seeds, located on court street, downtown SLO, offers healthy toasts, sandwiches, salads, smoothies and more.

“I usually get takeout at seeds. It’s super close to school and the website is easy to use. I would definitely recommend it,” said junior Gracey May.

Their food ranges from $10 to $20, and you can view their full menu at tasteseeds.com/menu. Their website is easy to navigate and place online orders, which makes it easy for students to eat lunch there.

“I really enjoy the acai bowls, it’s usually what I get there. I would recommend seeds because of how healthy they are and you can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients,” said junior Naima Ortega.

Because Seeds sources and uses such fresh ingredients, their food can be pricey.

“The food is expensive for sure, but the place feels clean and has a good vibe. It’s good if you are looking for a nice lunch, but it isn’t an everyday place for me just because of the price,” said senior Ava Van Luchene.

Everyone at SLO High should check out Seeds at least once. It’s only a five minute drive from school and is definitely worth every penny.
