  Students at San Luis Obispo High School will be excited to know that Lovejoy has recently come out with a new album. This new album is titled ‘Pebble Brain’.

“Pebble Brain” has more songs than their last EP “Are You Alright?”, and even has a cover of the lead singer, Wilbur Soot’s, single” It’s All Futile! It’s All Pointless!”, which was originally released in 2019.

“Pebble Brain” consists of seven new songs.

  “’Pebble Brain’ is a great album! It’s a better version of ‘Are You Alright?’. I think it has more meaningful lyrics and a better melody for each song than the last album. My favorite song is ‘You’ll Understand When You’re Older’ because I enjoy the smooth beat and lyrics of the song. I highly recommend this album to anyone, whether or not they’ve listened to Lovejoy before,” said freshman Maverick LaMacchia Meeks. 

  All of the members of Lovejoy put a lot of effort into this album.

Even if you’ve never heard of Lovejoy before, give one of their new songs a listen! You won’t regret it and you may even find that Lovejoy is your new favorite band.
