  Winter break is over but not forgotten for the students of San Luis Obispo High School. Expressions went out and interviewed some SLOHS students to find out what they were up to over the two and a half weeks of break.

Expressions: What was your favorite part of winter break?

Junior Emma Jantos: My favorite part of break was going to Tahoe to ski.

Freshman Sedona Bitler: I think the best part of winter break was just not being in school.

Freshman Jade Harkins: I really enjoyed spending the time with my family to Thailand.

Expressions: How do you feel about the length of the break?

Jantos: I think it was a good amount, especially with extra two days because of the storm.

Bitler: I think it’s too short, because like we need more time to relax from school.

Harkins: If I could choose i would make it just a little longer.

Expressions: How are you feeling coming back to school

Jantos: Very tired, but I was also excited to see my friends again.

Bitler: I’m really tired and not in it at all.

Harkins: Transitioning back to school has been slow and tiring.

Expressions: Where do you want to travel one day?

Jantos: A place that I would like to travel one day is Morroco.

Bitler: I really want to go to New Zealand just because like I wanted to live in there like this space is really beautiful from all the pictures.

Harkins: I always wanted to visit Ireland 

Expressions: What are your plans for spring break?

Jantos: Well I’m probably going to visit different colleges and universities.

Bitler: I don’t have any real plans yet but I’ll probably go to the mountains and stuff or just play tennis and swim.

Harkins: I’ll probably just hang out with family.

Coming back from break is an adjustment but Expressions hopes all the Tigers had a good break filled with fun memories.
