As many people know, California has some of the best beaches in the world, but what about our San Luis Obispo High School foreign exchange students’ coasts?
“I live in the center of Italy, really close to the beach, and they are really nice. Compared to the Californian ones, the water is more clear and warm and the beaches are less crowded,” said senior Susanna Scaloni.
“Serbia has no beaches,” said senior Marko Saijic, ”but we have lakes which are pretty similar to them.”
“Back in Norway beaches are way smaller, colder, and instead of sand there are rocks,” said senior Malin Roeli.
However, U.S. beaches seem to be much more pleasant.
“I’ve gone to Pirates Cove since I was little and it’s pretty open so you can get a good view of the moon,” said junior Sawyer McSorley.
Whether you like the beaches or not, California has some of the better spots in the world, especially if you are looking for nice sunsets and “pure” views.
