  When stores begin to stock their shelves with pumpkin-flavored goods and the air turns crisp, most people feel that fall reigns as the best season of all. San Luis Obispo High School students agree that fall is the best time of year.

  “I love fall because it’s the perfect time to get cozy. When the weather gets cold outside, it’s so nice to wrap yourself up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider and watch a movie,” said senior Ainsley Stephens.

  As the leaves begin to turn bright yellow and crimson and holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving round the corner, students experience the many benefits of fall. 

  “Fall is great because there’s just such a strong sense of community and love. It really brings out a spirit in people that you don’t see with other seasons. Thanksgiving brings families together and reminds people to be grateful,” said senior Finley Mallon. 

  Students also enjoy the ability to step up their fashion during fall. 

  “I also love it because I get the opportunity to wear better outfits. Layering comfy clothes is so much better than wearing summer clothes,” said Stephens.

  With Halloween only a few weeks away and the weather getting cooler, it’s officially time to get into the fall mood!
