Attention all San Luis Obispo High School students: Signing Day is coming up on May 15!
Come join Athletic Director Kennedy Meaney and the college bound athletes in the theater during tutorial and see your favorite seniors sign their college athletic contracts.
Signing day is where seniors get signed to a college that they are going to for a sport, such as Football, Cheer/Stunt, Track, Cross Country, Water Polo, Swim and Dive, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, and more.
“So at our signing day, we will have our 15 honorees up on the stage of the theater. I’ll talk about each one and all their successes over their career here at SLO High for their athletic sport, and then each of them will be signing their letter of intent to play their sport at their college. Then there’ll be an opportunity for people to chat and take pictures and just really celebrate those 15 kids,” said Meaney.
Signing day isn’t often talked about, but it’s very important.
According to Meaney, these are the seniors that will be signed and what sport they will be playing.
