Tomorrow at San Luis Obispo High School all students can see their senior schoolmates get ready to embark on the next step of their academic and athletic careers. At lunch, seniors committed to colleges for sports are going to officially sign letters that guarantee them to play at the collegiate level.
“I am extremely proud of our 16 senior student-athletes who will continue to participate in athletics at the collegiate level. It is a true testament to their hard work, dedication, and all the sacrifices that have been made along the way,” said athletic director Jeff Brandow.
Congratulations to seniors: Sam Johnson (boys soccer at Cal Lutheran), Branden Dolezal (boys soccer at UCSB), Molly Eppright (girls volleyball at Fresno State), Molly Massman (girls soccer at University of Montana), Amber Nunes (girls soccer at Chico State), Olivia Ortiz (girls soccer at Cal Poly SLO), Maddie Johnson (girls soccer at Humboldt State), Cooper Benson (boys baseball at Arizona State), Brooks Lee (boys baseball at Cal Poly SLO), Anneke Moersdorf (track and field at Oregon State), Lily Svetich (girls basketball at Cal Poly SLO), Samantha Simard (track and field/ XC at Southern Utah), Madeline Fletcher (track and field at Oregon State), Emma Manderino (track and field at UCSB), Annie Bartolome (swimming at Fresno State), and Charles Lincoln (football at Cal Poly SLO).
