  Students at SLOHS have heard about the famous music festival “Coachella,” but have SLOHS  students heard about the upcoming line up coming to Lollapalooza?

  Lollapalooza is a popular music festival in Chicago that many social media influencers go to. This year their headliners include artists that many know such as, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Rufus du Sol, etc.

  Not only am I excited to go, I’m sure other students at SLOHS are excited about this event as well.   

  “I’m really excited to go this year, I’m excited to see ASAP Rocky and Tyler the Creator. It should be super fun,” said sophomore Kelton Sullivan.

  SLOHS Students who have seen the lineup seem excited about the upcoming festival. This is a popular festival on the app “TikTok,” so many students at SLOHS have heard about it, and have become intrigued about the whole festival itself. 

  “I’m sad I don’t get the chance to go, it looks like it will be super fun,” said freshman Jordan Hamilton. 

  Students and staff who listen to music seem to think this event sounds fun and something entertaining to do over the summer. 

  “I certainly know of Luke Combs and Korn, but after that there are many groups I’ve never heard of. I’m usually too busy to keep up with trendy music. That being said, it sounds like a fun event to hear new bands in a variety of styles,” said band teacher Sharon Jeskey.

  This popular event should be something all SLOHS students should pay attention to on all their social media pages. If you are able to attend, and looking for a fun event to go to with friends, go check out Lollapalloza.
