  Art Central Gallery is an art & drafting supply store for local artists by local artists. They promote and support the visual arts of San Luis Obispo County and the students at San Luis Obispo High School. 

  Art Central strives to be far more than just an art supply store. Expanding its schedule of workshops and demonstrations by local artists and instructors, it has become a place in the community for those that wish to expand, refine and combine their artistic experiences.

  “The art gallery is one of the coolest art supply stores I’ve been to. The selection is phenomenal. They have everything you could ever need and the staff are equally amazing as well,’ said senior Zoe Elliott.

 Their friendly staff is ready to help find what needs to create masterpieces or discover a new creative outlet! They offer many art classes for youth, adults and families. Including a paint with your pet and Art explorations for teens.

“You walk into a brick and mortar store, you’re greeted by a knowledgeable and fun person, and a cute doggy too! You ask for advice, they help you get ideas and there is art there by local artists that inspires you. There are also quotes posted there that inspire you, if you’re an artist and even if you just want to become one, this is your place to shop for supplies! Owner was so cool too!” said Junior Naima Ortego.

The Art Central Gallery brings together the local artist community to celebrate the talent and creativity of San Luis Obispo County. The art Central Gallery houses a fixed collection of art for sale and a monthly rotating show. The monthly exhibits range from collections of works by specific groups of artists to themed shows with open submissions.
