On January 25, actor John Hurt lost his life at age 77. The British actor’s filmography list is filled with many well known movies, from “Alien” to “Indiana Jones” to “V for Vendetta”.
The death of the actor came as tragic news to “Harry Potter” fans who are still mourning the loss of Alan Rickman who died last year of cancer only at age 69. Hurt was known for the famous “Harry Potter” movies playing the role of Garrick Ollivander, the wandmaker Harry buys his first wand from.
“John Hurt was a great guy, it’s a shame that 2017 is already taking my favorite actors and actresses. I wish he was still here, but it looks like I have to buy my magic wands elsewhere,” said junior Andrew Nash.
Hurt has also had appearances on shows like “Doctor Who”, where he played The War Doctor, and “Merlin”, where he played The Dragon.
Although it was a tragic loss, he won’t be forgotten. Hurt will live forever through our screens.
