With a win Friday night against Paso Robles High School and a two game lead on Atascadero High School, San Luis Obispo High School baseball is now one win away from their second league title in the last three years. The team has accomplished a 21-5 overall record (15-3 in league) and is currently ranked eighth in CIF-Southern Section Division 3.
“I’m confident that we will play very well this week and play strong come playoffs,” said sophomore Luke Roberts.
AHS, who is currently second in PAC8 with a league record of 13-5 and unranked in Division 4, took control of the second place spot after sweeping PRHS four weeks ago.
“[Atascadero] is a solid team this year, but at the end of the week we are going to come out on top,” said Roberts.
With a clinch of the league title, SLOHS should have a good seed going into the CIF playoffs. Be sure to come out and support your Tigers!
