Rumor has it that Slim Shady is coming out with a new album that has all of his fans from San Luis Obispo High School standing up. Otherwise known as Eminem or Marshall Mathers, his last album was made in 2013 titled “The Marshall Mathers LP 2”. Since then, Eminem was caught in a dry spell until his most recent freestyle about President Donald Trump. Mathers, who has been vocal about disliking Trump in the past, also defends athletes who have been in conflict with the President and draws a line between himself his fans who support him. Expressions wanted to know senior Skyler Busbea’s thoughts on Eminem’s rap bashing the President and his feelings on the new album.
Expressions: When did you start listening to Eminem and what is your favorite song?
Senior Skyler Busbea: Eighth grade and “Without Me”.
Expressions: Are you a Stan, foe, or neutral about Eminem as a person and his songs?
Busbea: Stan.
Expressions: What is your opinion about Eminem’s latest freestyle about our President?
Busbea: It was a G.O.A.T. freestyle.
Expressions: What do you think his new album is mostly about?
Busbea: Politics.
Expressions: Are you excited about the album or do you think Eminem is ruining his career?
Busbea: Who isn’t excited besides Trump supporters?
Expressions: Although Eminem is allowed to talk about his political views due to the first amendment, do you think it’s a good or bad idea for him to bring up Donald Trump and the decisions he’s making through an album?
Busbea: I think it’s good that he’s finally expressing himself on his political views.
