On Sunday, August 6, Slightly Stoopid along with special guests Iration, J Boog, and The Movement will be performing at the Avila Beach Golf Resort.

“I’ve been to a few concerts in Avila and I’m excited for this one. In general Avila Beach concerts are super lit and super fun so I’m stoked. I already bought my tickets for Slightly Stoopid and I know I’m going to have a great time with my friends,” said San Luis Obispo High School Graduate Will Meinhold.

When SLOHS students plan whether or not they want to attend this Avila Beach concert, they say a big part of what draws them is the atmosphere more than the music.

“Avila concerts are known for having a lot of people and for always having great bands so even though I didn’t know too much about Slightly Stoopid when I bought my tickets, it was a no brainer that I wanted to be there,” said Meinhold.

“I’m going to Slightly Stoopid but mainly because I love going out to the Avila Golf Resort and listening to good music by the beach with my friends. It’s a really cool atmosphere and all of my experiences there have been great,” said SLOHS graduate Shelby Lopez.

This year the gates open at 4pm and the concert is set to begin at 4:30pm. This concert has general admission only and tickets are available for purchase at Boo Boo Records in downtown SLO.
