Summer is going to be over before you even know it. It’s time to take control of your summer and make it the best it can be. Expressions put together a list of tips on how to enjoy summer to the fullest.
For many, summer is the chance to recharge batteries and have time to relax. Senior Anna Peterson finds the simple idea of no school relaxing and mentions that traveling around is a good way to spend a summer. Here in California, we have a bunch of places to visit with friends or family. Some might find traveling the highlight of their summer!
On the other hand, to get most out of your summer, it is important to stay active. Math teacher Blake Bristol reminds students to wake up early and go to bed late.
“That way, you can do more stuff everyday,” said Bristol. Many students and staff enjoy not having a stressful bell schedule.
“Then, I can do whatever I want, whenever I want,” said Bristol. Being active might mean just getting a lot done during the day, or maybe getting a head start to the next school year with some summer classes. Summer also offers time to work and save some money for the rest of the year.
“Don’t sit around on the couch all summer; get up and do stuff. The more stuff you do, the longer the summer will feel,” said senior Cole Bumen. He also finds traveling a great summer activity.
Whatever it is, do something that makes you happy. Stay active and have fun.
