On Valentine’s Day, students at San Luis Obispo High School are beginning to ask the question, “What is Valentine’s’ Day really for?”
Expressions asked a few of these students what they thought the meaning behind this day of love really is.
“It’s just an excuse for guys to run around wearing diapers!” said junior Ella Udlock.
“I like it cause my mom gives me presents; otherwise, I don’t really care about it,” said her twin sister, junior Violet Udlock
“In Italy it’s not as popular… we usually just get some small gifts for our friends,” said senior Matteo Cicognani.
This Valentine’s day, when thinking of your loved ones, remember to ask yourself what Valentine’s day is really for.
