A new Go Fund Me page has been created to support Industrial Technology teacher Jed Bruington’s destroyed wood shop tools, which suffered smoke damage from the recent fire to room 307.
The fundraising creator, Dede Bruington writes:
“Last week he was informed that all of the tools, equipment, materials, and books in his shop are a complete loss due to smoke damage. Insurance will cover the schools property but this will take time. At this point he does not have any teaching materials for the 120 students he has this trimester.”
As of this writing, the campaign has raised a total of nearly $2,500 in just under 5 hours. Its goal is $10,000.
If you’re able to, chip in a few dollars and support not only Bruington and San Luis Obispo High School, but the students who need these resources.
