Students at San Luis Obispo High School and The National Basketball Association once again are looking for best team to take the big gold-encrusted Larry O’Brien trophy and diamond platinum rings for every player and staff on the team.

Student predictions abound, and many are excited for what’s to come.

There are a few who believe what’s in store is simply another season of dominance by The Cleveland Cavaliers.

“During the offseason of 2016, there were a lot of trades that took place, and by that it makes the prediction pretty hard. Many teams picked up a lot of firepower to make a super team. But besides that, some believe the 2016 NBA reigning champions Cleveland Cavaliers will once again win. Not only are they experienced, but they have one of the greatest players, some say since Michael Jordan. That is LeBron James,” said freshman Max Soltero.

“Because they have experience of going to the playoffs and winning the NBA championship, their team has a lot of chemistry together,” said freshman Lamar Jefferson.

It is hard to predict who is going to make it and win it all. Who knows, maybe the Cavaliers do have what it takes to win it all once again.
