League games are in full swing for San Luis Obispo High School winter sports. Basketball is playing St. Joseph’s in Santa Maria today and at home against Mission on Friday, both at 7:30 PM. They needs to win one of these two games to make the playoffs.
“We have a pretty good chance to make playoffs, we just need to keep working hard,” said sophomore Will Compton. They are currently tied for 4th in league standings and have a record of 6-6.
Soccer has two more league games until CIF. They play St. Joes at home today and at Mission on Friday, both at 4:30 PM. Soccer is currently at the top of league standings with a record of 9-1-2.
“I think we can win CIF,” said junior Cole Parker Hanvey.
Wrestling has league finals this weekend at Pioneer Valley. They are placed 5th overall in league standings. This tournament determines who continues to CIF.
