The San Luis Obispo Color Blast Fun Run is a non-competitive 5K dedicated to the passing of Alex Maier, who died just a few short years ago. All proceeds of the event go to the Alex Maier Memorial Fund and Scholarship.
The event is taking place at SLOHS this Saturday, January 23, with registration check-in at 8:30 am, pre-race entertainment at 9:00 am, and the actual run starting at 10:00 am. It costs $35 to take part in the color run, with all participants getting their own T-shirt to keep after the event.
