Our girls’ swim team at San Luis Obispo High School is performing well. Although there are still many meets left, their performance so far is amazing.
“We have beaten everyone in our dual meets this season,” said varsity swimmer and senior Isabella Irion.
The girls’ swim team is currently ranked thirteenth in California. In the Central Coast Athletic Association Mountain League, they are ranked second, just behind Arroyo Grande.
“We’re close to Arroyo Grande right now, we want to win the league like we always do, but it’s close this year,” said varsity swimmer and junior Valentina Solis.
Between championship and dual meet rankings in the last four years, the SLOHS girls’ team has the most wins by placing first six out of the possible eight times.
“We have a really strong swim team with fast girls, so it’s really important to come watch this sport,” said junior varsity swimmer and junior Kailani Brewer.
Our swim team is hard at work to do well this season. They need support, so go cheer them on Tigers at their home meet on Friday!
