It’s time.
This Friday, December 1 at seven p.m. the 47th annual Holiday Parade in downtown San Luis Obispo will march down the streets of SLO. This is a long time tradition for SLO.
Many San Luis Obispo High School students participate and love watching this yearly tradition.
“I love watching the parade so much and have gone since I was very young,” said junior Leila Johnson.
One well known thing about this parade is that our very own FFA has a float that many SLOHS students are involved in.
“I love standing with my friends on the float and getting to wave at my friends not on it,” said senior Ava Van Luchene.
There are ninety parade entries this year. With different businesses and groups. Last year the Cal Poly band was there among different things. It is always a bit of a surprise to watch.
“We’re very excited for the Holiday Parade! We will have a float that all of our volunteers can walk alongside this year,” said Wilshire Hospice Hope Chest Manager Jennan Alhadad-McLennan.
It is a great thing for friends and family to go watch together. So go check it out Tigers!
