The Mountain Bike Club here at San Luis Obispo High School is taking things to the next level this year. Everyone is excited about a weekend-long group trip that is in the works.
“We have a group mountain bike trip up to Santa Cruz planned for next month which will be really fun,” said junior club member and vice president Dawson Sennes.
Because of COVID-19, the club has been unable to make a trip like this happen in recent years, so it is a hot topic with members of the club.
As a whole, SLOHS Mountain Bike Club members love what the club is doing.
“This is an amazing club and opportunity, especially for new riders. Mountain Bike Club is the best!” said sophomore and Mountain Bike Club member Gabe Jantos.
Not only is Mountain Bike Club a great environment for new and returning riders, it encourages getting out and riding more, as well as building skills.
Being part of a club is never a bad idea, and for those who love the outdoors Mountain Bike Club is a great option.
