After the hit of “WandaVision” on Disney+ many fans are looking towards the next show “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” to maintain the, so far, attention grabbing Marvel Cinematic Universe amazing storytelling. San Luis Obispo Expressions is excited to inform SLOHS students on what they need to know for the upcoming series.

“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” will premiere on Disney’s streaming service Disney+ tomorrow. The show will follow the same release times as “WandaVision” dropping every Friday, but only with six episodes.

“So many of my favorite characters are no longer [alive] in the shows and movies. However, when I learned that “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” are coming back in their own show I jumped for joy. I love how they brought this friendship together to create a crazy new show and I’m so excited for what it will bring to the Marvel universe!” said junior Eden Lerner.

The show will follow the aftermath of the most recent MCU film “Avengers: Endgame” focusing on the characters of Sam Wilson or “The Falcon” and “The Winter Soldier”, Bucky Barnes in the buddy comedy action adventure following a global mission most likely to save the world. After being handed the mantle of Captain America, Wilson, will be following in the footsteps of Steve Rogers to fight for freedom and justice alongside Rogers’ best friend Bucky. The series will not continue the direct story of “WandaVision” instead choosing to focus on Wilson’s and Bucky’s, further building the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.
