It is it that time again when ABC, CBS, and Hallmark start the massive influx of holiday movies.

Everyone has their favorite, whether that is “Charlie Brown Christmas”, “Elf”, “Miracle on 34th Street”, and “It’s a Wonderful Life”.

Here at San Luis Obispo High School, Expressions decide to get the holiday spirit by asking students about their favorite movies.

“A wonderful and heartwarming Christmas movie is ‘Christmas Mail’ which is about a mailman who falls in love with a weird elf-lady at the US Postal Service. It often doesn’t make sense and there are scenes where you watch it and you find yourself in pure bliss by how ridiculous everything is. It is also very wholesome,” said senior Owen Mosley.

But there are also so weird classics to return to.

“‘Nightmare Before Christmas’, it has both Halloween and Christmas, the music, the claymation, and the spooky Christmas vibe; give a perfect mixture to holiday spirits,” said junior Eden Learner.

“Edward Scissorhands because I love anything Tim Burton, and it’s still creepy, but it is so heartwarming Christmasy at the same time”, said junior Linaea Marks.

Whatever movie is your favorite, or whichever brings you that holiday joy we can all still agree it is important especially now to keep that warmth in your life.  Email [email protected] with a short review of your favorite holiday movie.
