Many students of San Luis Obispo High School are considering attending the Oliver Tree concert at the Fremont Theatre.
His concert is on September 24 at the Fremont Theater. This isn’t the best time for students because it’s a school night.
“Tuesday night would make going to a concert a lot harder,” said freshman Zack Oates.
Though, time wouldn’t be a factor for every student.
“No, his bowl cut is waiting. I will not miss this golden opportunity,” said freshman Tyler Plakias.
Oliver’s Tree’s hair is very amazing and I am sure many students at SLOHS would agree with Plakias
Many of his songs fall into genres related to either Pop, or Rock, and can appeal to a large audience, helping him gain popularity.
His music has been given impressive critical acclaim by sources such as Vice, NYLON, and Billboard.
“[Tree’s] goal is to push the art form forward, and beyond the electronic scene, he aims to have his work reach the world and in doing so, better his listeners’ lives,” said Huffington Post.
This concert is for all ages and starts at 8 p.m. Tree’s tour, stretching over 2 months, has only one concert in San Luis Obispo. This could possibly be one of his last too.
“Dear fans, it pains me to say this but this will be my last and final tour. If you ever wanted to see me, now’s your chance. Tickets on sale next week. Thanks for everything. Goodbye, farewell from your old pal Oliver Tree.” said Oliver Tree on a Facebook post. However, Tree’s known for playing a character nearly 24/7, and whether or not this is his last tour, we are yet to find out.
Oliver Tree’s concert this upcoming Tuesday, but expectedly, they have already sold out.
