Music to Add to Your Playlists This Fall

Music+to+Add+to+Your+Playlists+This+Fall

Music lovers are always looking for new songs to add to their playlists,  and San Luis Obispo High School students are no exception. Whether it’s to help study, to clear their mind, or just to improve their mood, SLOHS students love listening to music.    Expressions set out to ask five students what their number one fall song recommendation is.

“Amor de Siempre” by Cuco

“I guess it just  feels like fall. It makes me feel like I’m flowing in the wind,” said Freshman Honey Jones.

“Kool Aid and Frozen Pizza” by Mac Miller

“I think we need to keep Mac’s music alive in spirit. It was the first song of his that I heard when I was little and it means a lot to me. I think it could to others too,” said Freshman Sierra Caravarin.

“Peach Fuzz” by Tyler the Creator

“I’ve always loved Tyler the Creator. I always follow his music, so when he releases something I make sure to listen to it at least 100 times. I also really like it cause it’s one of his more mellow songs,” said Freshman Ryan Schisler.

“Hostage” by Billie Eilish

“It gives me an aesthetic feel. Her style of music is just amazing. “Hostage” is about a girl who has fallen in love and doesn’t want to lose that. I just feel it all and she’s so talented; her voice is incredible,” said Freshman Ulibeth Avila.

“Safari Song” by Greta Van Fleet

“It’s a reflection of my being. I just think a lot of people would like it,” said Freshman Sacha Carlson.
