Students of San Luis Obispo High School were welcomed to school this year with continued construction on campus. Many are very excited to see what the future holds for the remodeling of our campus. Others are not thrilled that the construction has diverted classes into obscure corners of campus, which is an inconvenience to them. What do the people of SLOHS have to say about the Measure D improvements to campus?
Junior Brooke Andris agrees with junior Reagan Lunsford that, “While the situation with Measure D is frustrating at the present, it will be good for future SLOHS students.”
Chemistry teacher Ryan Ritchie said, “I am excited for the new facilities,” and added that he believes the end products will have been “worth the wait.”
It seems that the majority of students and staff at SLOHS share their thoughts on Measure D: While it may be an inconvenience to students now, the results will be worth it.
