Rebelution is a reggae music band from Isla Vista, California. The band is formed of Eric Rachmany on the guitar, Rory Carey with the keyboard, Marley D. Williams on the bass, and Wesley Finley on the drums.They are currently on a tour around the United States, and will be visiting the Avila Beach Golf Resort in Avila beach on Saturday June 17, and the Santa Barbara Bowl amphitheater the following day. Expressions interviewed some San Luis Obispo High School students who have seen them live.

Expressions: How would you describe the last year concert?

Senior Cole Bumen: Super energetic, yet laid back and super fun vibe for everyone to enjoy music.

Senior Olivia Dahan: It was a lot of fun. There were people of all ages just enjoying the same music and there was a lot of dancing which made it fun too.

Junior Coco Jones: It was crowded and everyone was standing super close to get to the front. But it was fun.

Expressions: Are you going this year?

Bumen: Wouldn’t miss this year.

Dahan: I’m not sure if I will be going this year just because I’m pretty sure I’ll be out of town, but I would recommend going to one of their concerts.

Jones: I probably will.

Expressions: What’s your best memory from last year’s concert?

Bumen: My best memory was watching the bass player spin his huge dreadlocks in big circles.

Dahan: Dancing to the music and spending time with my friends. The food was good too.

Jones: Sitting down because my feet hurt so bad from being stepped on.
