A new boys tennis season is starting at San Luis Obispo High School. Expressions interviewed junior Kameron Atnip about his take on the upcoming season.  Atnip transferred to SLOHS from Atascadero this trimester.

Expressions: When did you start playing tennis?

Junior Kameron Atnip: I started playing when I was in the seventh grade.

Expressions: What is your favorite part of the game?

Atnip: My favorite part about tennis is being able to play one on one, and also being able to rely on myself to win rather than relying on someone else.

Expressions: What are you looking forward to the most this season?

Atnip: I’m looking forward to playing tennis with some new people, as well as just the season in general!

Expressions: Do you plan on continuing to play tennis after high school?

Atnip: Yes, I plan on playing the rest of my life.

Expressions: What it like joining a new team at a new school?

Atnip: Joining a new team at a new school is kind of cool because now there is a whole new challenge for me with new people!

Tennis starts their season on February 28 against Santa Ynez.
