Tuesday, October 25, starts the regular season of the 2016-2017 National Basketball Association (NBA) season. Every season develops its own rhythm and includes new storylines. A summer’s work helps lay the foundation for the upcoming season; who used their time off to get stronger and improve their skills?
“Despite [that] I’m a Los Angeles Lakers fan, I think that this season the Golden State Warriors are most likely to win the title after Kevin Durant signed for them. He is considered a traitor in Oklahoma city, but he is probably, after Lebron James, the best small forward of the last [few] years. It would be incredible if such a good team with so many amazing players such as Durant, Curry, Green and Thompson were not the winner of this season,” said junior Shane Russet.
On the potential candidates for Most Valuable Player (MVP), Russet said,
“Besides the usual names such as Steph Curry, I think that Russell Westbrook, famous for his triple-double, can win this important award because without KD at OKC he will be able to score at least 30/40 points per game.”
Westbrook is the one that can bring the Championship to OKC for the first time in history.
