Beginning tomorrow at lunch, a new club will hit San Luis Obispo High School’s campus. The Super Smash Bros. Club, created by sophomore Cooper Lyle and advised by science teacher Ryan Ritchie, will take place every Tuesday at lunch starting on February 9. A typical lunch meeting will consist of a brief discussion on who will play who, followed by a match, and occasionally a tournament. Each member will need to bring their own Wii controller, GameCube controller, or Three Dimensional Screen (3DS) in order to participate in the activities. The club meets in room 107 and is welcome to all SLOHS video game lovers.
“I created it to get together a bunch of different students who all have a common interest in the game and to meet new people,” said Lyle.
Ritchie will attend the meetings as the club advisor and is there to be sure students have access to whatever equipment they may need.
“I’m looking forward to the excitement of a good brawl,” said Ritchie.
All students interested in the Super Smash Bros. club must meet during lunch tomorrow and bring a controller with them.
“You should all come join the club!” said Lyle.

You may play in all your might, but you will never be as good as me.
