On December 15, local author of the “Storm Siren” trilogy, Mary Weber, will be visiting the San Luis Obispo High School theater during lunch. All students are encouraged to come visit. If you can’t make it, Weber will be visiting some English classes.
“My best friend keeps telling me to read it and it’s been on my need-to-read list for months now,” said sophomore Sarah Nighswonger. Even if you haven’t read the books, perhaps Weber’s visit on campus will spark an interest in the series.
“She easily relates to teens and what they’re going through, and is able to write fun fantasy books that are able to speak to teens on a number of levels,” said SLOHS librarian Jennifer Sawyer.
