Boys’ Soccer Battles to the End

San Luis Obispo High School’s Boys’ Varsity Soccer team made it to second round  CIF and played their third game on Wednesday, February 25 on our Holt field against Redlands East Valley High School. SLOHS Boys’ Varsity soccer is currently ranked 55 in the state of California and 164 in the nation as of February 24. Senior Jessee Barry scored one goal for the tigers in the first quarter. Redlands scored in the second quarter with a score of 1-1 resulting in overtime. The game went to Penalty kicks , and  Redlands won. San Luis Obispo High School Expressions interviewed senior Jessee Barry and senior Bo Crozier about the game.

Expressions: How did you feel going into the game?

Senior Bo Crozier: Confident as always.

Senior Jessee Barry: I felt confident that we would win if everyone brought heart and intensity.

Expressions: What did you expect from Redlands East Valley High School?

Crozier: We had heard a scouting report that they had two good players who had scored a majority of their goals all season.

Barry: I expected them to be very good and ready to do anything to win.

Expressions: What was your favorite thing about the season?

Crozier: Being part of such an awesome team.

Barry: Definitely the pasta feeds and messing around with the team.
