Seventy five percent of San Luis Obispo High school students are allowed to go to lunch off campus. But students go to a variety of different places because there are so many options. Expressions interviewed a sophomore, junior, and senior to see what their opinions were on where they prefer to go to lunch.

Expressions: What is your favorite place to go off campus for lunch?

Sophomore Kaitlyn Kimball: My favorite place to go off campus is Firestone because my sister works there.

Junior Victoria Humphrey: My house because it is so close. It is my favorite because I always have watermelon there and that is like my favorite food ever.

Senior Deep Mistry: My favorite off campus food is Panda Express because Alex Chai and I are Asian and we like Asian ethnicity food. It is very close to my home culture food.

Expressions: Where is the best place to go to when you walk off campus?

Kimball: I do not walk off campus.

Humphrey: I vote that Franks [Famous Hotdogs] is the best place to walk off campus, but only if you call in your order.

Mistry: I would say Splash [Café] because it is really fast when you call in your order and I love their chicken strips. 

Expressions: Where do you think that most people go off campus to and why?

Kimball: Probably to hang out in their cars.

Humphrey: Probably Franks because it’s the closest.

Mistry: Adult school.
