Winter Formal is right around the corner and the boys are wondering what the ladies might be expecting from them! In fact, some of our SLOHS boys are so overwhelmed on how they should ask that they don’t even go through with asking. What is it that our SLOHS girls are expecting?

“I definitely want a guy to ask me in a cute way, even if it’s small and just between us. It’d be cool to know that they are actually thinking about what I would personally like, I think I’d say yes to something like that,” said freshman Solana Uribe.

Our SLOHS girls aren’t looking for anything extravagant or extraordinary, they’re looking for meaning.

“I just want someone to care about what I feel, someone that looks into what I like and then asks me that way. Even if it’s simple I wouldn’t really mind,” responds freshman, Ally Ibarra.

Some of our SLOHS boys are nervous to ask due to them not wanting to get rejected, not having the courage to ask, or if their mom just told them to and they just flat out don’t want to. From the view of our SLOHS girls, something sweet and simple will definitely get you the answer that you are searching for.
