At San Luis Obispo High School, students and staff discuss different shows and movies they watch on a daily basis. Among these diverse pieces of media, a show called “Good Omens” has recently become more popular.

“Good Omens,” created by English writer Neil Gaiman, was first released on May 31, 2019. There were six episodes in this first season, and the overall rating of the fantasy series was significantly positive.

“The show is awesome. It has an interesting plot and loveable characters,” said junior Nolan Evers.

Season two of the biblical apocalyptic show premiered this year on July 28. It is more simplistic than the first season, mainly revolving around a small group of characters. The main subject is about the complexities of love, which differs from the in-depth story building in season one.

“My favorite part about ‘Good Omens’ is the representation of LGBTQ+ characters throughout the show and the way everything that happens ties together in one way or another,” said sophomore Mikey Carnes.

Season one already goes beyond many people’s expectations, but season two really takes the cake.

“I would recommend ‘Good Omens’ to everyone because it has a very good storyline that follows a really well written and executed plot. It’s a show that’s addicting to watch,” said Carnes.

“Good Omens” season two can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. Go watch an episode, Tigers!
