Expressions is sure that San Luis Obispo High School Students have heard plenty about Rihanna and her iconic Super Bowl halftime show, but we’re here to tell you even more.
“I loved her performance! A part of me is still on my friends couch watching it, she’s been my role model since I was little so seeing her perform and be amazing was big for me. I loved it,” said junior Tea Fischer.
Rihanna hasn’t performed live since 2018 when she performed at the Grammy Awards ceremony. Not only did she sing her heart out on stage and amaze the crowd and viewers across the world, she also announced her second pregnancy, and promoted her business, Fenty Beauty that she’s been focusing on starting and running since she began her break from music a few years ago.
While stunning the crown with her all red fiery outfit Rihanna sang a medley of her greatest hits including “Where Have You Been,” “Only Girl (In the World),” “We Found Love,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” “Pour It Up,” “All of the Lights,” “Run This Town,” and “Umbrella.”
“I wasn’t mad about the halftime show, but I didn’t love it. I think the Super Bowl could have picked someone better, but that’s just because I don’t personally love the type of music Rihanna makes,” said senior Dawson Nelson.
If you missed the Super Bowl but you still want to see Rihanna’s performance you can find it for free on YouTube. She has way more hits than your Youtube channel.
