San Luis Obispo High School students looking for a fun way to decorate for the holiday season can now buy floral arrangements for $15 from the floral design class. 

  “The arrangements are handcrafted by students, which helps us gain experience for future projects. They are super pretty and very festive, and getting to sell something I helped make is really cool” said junior floral design student Allison Cadena.

  Arrangements will be available to order starting December 16 and 17, as well as December 20 through 23.

These glamorous centerpieces will contain flowers like roses, mums, mini carnations, baby’s breath, as well as a candle. Buyers will be able to choose to accent their arrangement with handmade decorations which come in a variety of colors, such as gold, silver, red, white, green, and blue.

  By purchasing a decorative holiday arrangement, students can help the SLOHS Agriculture Department fund numerous projects, as well as provide funding to the floral design program.

The money earned from this fundraiser will allow the floral design classes to purchase more flowers throughout the year to use in more decorations.
