“I like pickles because they taste good and they’re convenient to eat, I feel like they get a bad rep but they give them to you a lot like with your sandwich so may as well like them,” said senior Grace Rubio.
“They’re sour and salty and they’re not really bad for you so I don’t feel bad about eating them,” said senior Amanda Ardantz.
“I love pickles because they are the best snack ever and they just taste good,” said senior Avery Quinn.
The gratitude all pickle lovers have for cucumbers can only be expressed in the copious amount of pickles we tend to eat. Pickles have been enjoyed for years and the NY Food Museum dates them back to 2400 BC. So let’s all say a big thank you to cucumbers cooler cousins and remember November 14th is national pickle awareness day, so make sure to pickle up all your feelings for pickles till then.
