The end of the first trimester at San Luis Obispo High School means a lot of things for students. Not only is a new trimester starting, but college applications are beginning to be due, and the reality of senior year is setting in for a lot of students.
“Senior year just sucks so far because it’s all worrying about college and the future,” said senior Molly Anthony.
It is a common feeling to be anxious or worried about what colleges you’re going to get into, where you’re going to go, or what you’re going to do. This can make applying a daunting task.
“I can already tell that this is the start of many last times here at SLOHS. I’m sad that this is our last Thanksgiving Break, but I am using my time wisely to look over my applications,” said senior Qili Paape.
Realizing that in seven months we will be taking our last finals and saying our goodbyes is a common trend after the first finals of the year.
“Who knows where we will be in six months and who knows where we will be in a year. It’s crazy exciting but crazy scary,” said senior Dylan Maddalena.
